从文化与意义的角度浅析汉语成语英译
On the Translation of Chinese Idioms from the Perspective of Culture and Meaning
摘要: 本文旨从文化与意义的角度，探究汉语成语语言背后的文化典故和历史背景，及在双语转化中对成语隐含义、引申义和联想义的理解，对汉语成语英译的方法进行分析与总结，以提高汉语言文化翻译的权威性和有效性，促进中国传统文化走向世界。
Abstract: From the perspective of culture and meaning, this paper aims to explore the cultural allusions and historical background behind the language of Chinese idioms, as well as the understanding of the implicit meaning, extended meaning and associative meaning of idioms during the process of bilingual transformation, and analyze and summarize the methods and strategies of English translation of Chinese idioms, so as to improve the authority and effectiveness of Chinese cultural translation and promote Chinese traditional culture to the world.
