多模态话语分析视角下的字幕翻译——以电影《我是谁：没有绝对安全的系统》为例

Subtitle Translation from the Perspective of Multimodal Discourse Analysis—A Case Study of the Film Who Am I-No System is Safe

摘要: 近年来，多模态话语分析理论的兴起为电影字幕翻译研究提供了新的视角。本文以德国电影《我是谁——没有绝对安全的系统》的字幕翻译为研究对象，借助张德禄的多模态话语分析综合理论框架，从文化、语境、内容和表达四个层面出发，研究该电影的字幕翻译如何与声音、图像、动作等其他模态相互配合，共同构建完整的语篇意义。研究发现，多模态话语分析的理论框架突破了传统翻译研究局限于单一模态的束缚，充分考量到多模态间的协同作用，电影字幕翻译的质量因此得以提升。

Abstract: In recent years, the emergence of multimodal discourse analysis theory has provided new perspectives for research on film subtitle translation. Taking the subtitle translation of the German film Who Am I-No System Is Safe as its subject, this paper employs Zhang Delu’s comprehensive theoretical framework of multimodal discourse analysis. It examines how the film’s subtitle translation interacts with other modalities—such as sound, images, and actions—to jointly construct complete discourse meaning, analyzing this process across four dimensions: culture, context, content, and expression. The findings reveal that the theoretical framework of multimodal discourse analysis breaks through the limitations of traditional translation studies confined to a single modality. By fully considering the synergistic effects among multiple modalities, the quality of film subtitle translation is thereby enhanced.
