初二学生英语写作动词偏误实证分析
A Study of Verb Errors in Eighth-Grade Students’ English Compositions
摘要: 对英语作文的动词偏误进行分析有助于提升写作的教与学。本研究基于偏误分析理论与对比分析理论，采用定性和定量的混合研究方法，结合作文语料标注，研究初二学生英语写作中出现的动词偏误类型、影响因素并提出相应的教学建议。研究发现，初二学生英语写作过程中出现的动词偏误主要是动词选择偏误、时态偏误、动词缺失偏误、动词冗余偏误、拼写错误、主谓不一致偏误和介词后动词形式偏误。基于此，本研究提出对症下药，具体解决写作中的语言偏误；引导归因，教授学生正确的学习方法；趣味教学，培养学生的学习兴趣与习惯等具有针对性的教学建议，为初中英语写作教学提供实践参考。
Abstract: An analysis of verb errors in English compositions is pivotal for enhancing writing instruction and learning. Focusing on eighth-grade students’ English compositions, this study integrates Error Analysis Theory and Contrastive Analysis Theory, adopts a mixed-methods research design combining qualitative and quantitative approaches, and annotates a composition corpus to identify verb error types, explore their causes, and propose pedagogical suggestions. Findings show the frequency of verb errors in students’ writing, ranked from highest to lowest: verb selection errors, tense errors, verb omission errors, verb redundancy errors, spelling errors, subject-verb agreement errors, and errors in verb forms following prepositions. Based on this, this study proposes targeted pedagogical suggestions: addressing language errors in writing with solutions tailored to specific error types, guiding students to analyze the causes of errors while teaching them proper learning methods, and adopting engaging instructional approaches to foster students’ learning interest and habits. These suggestions are intended to provide practical references for English writing instruction in junior high schools.
