新文科背景下英语专业教师跨学科知识发展研究

摘要: 本文探讨了新文科背景下英语专业教师发展跨学科知识的必要性、面临的困境及可行路径。新文科建设及内容语言融合教育的推行,对英语专业教师的跨学科知识提出了新要求。当前,教师的跨学科知识面临内部与外部的双重发展困境。为此,高校应从外部营造合作、参与、实地本位的发展环境,教师自身也需树立跨学科意识,通过主动学习、实践反思等途径激发内在发展动力。研究强调,英语专业教师的跨学科知识发展并非弱化其语言本体能力,而是要在夯实语言根基的基础上拓宽学科视野,从而适应新文科背景下复合型外语人才培养的需求。
Abstract: This paper discusses the necessity, major challenges, and feasible approaches for English major teachers to develop interdisciplinary knowledge in the context of New Liberal Arts. The development of New Liberal Arts and the implementation of Content and Language Integration impose new requirements on English major teachers regarding their interdisciplinary knowledge. Currently, teachers face challenges in developing interdisciplinary knowledge from both internal and external factors. To address this, universities should create an external environment that fosters collaboration, participation, and practice-based development, while teachers themselves should cultivate interdisciplinary awareness and stimulate internal motivation through active learning and reflective practice. The study emphasizes that the development of interdisciplinary knowledge for English major teachers does not mean the weakening of their language proficiency but aims to expand disciplinary perspectives on the basis of solid language foundation, thereby meeting the demand for cultivating interdisciplinary foreign language talents in the context of New Liberal Arts.
