Industry-Education Integration Empowers New Model for Master of Tourism Administration Talent Development

摘要: 当前我国旅游产业快速发展，然而旅游管理专业硕士(MTA)教育仍存在人才培养与行业需求脱节的问题。文章深入剖析了MTA教育在培养目标、教学模式、课程设置及实践教学等方面的不足，指出产教融合不深入、师资队伍薄弱等突出问题。在此基础上，提出以“双导师制”为核心、校企共建“双平台制”为支撑的创新人才培养模式，贯通招生、培养、评价与就业全过程，推动理论与实践深度融合。该模式旨在提升MTA研究生的创新力与实践能力，实现教育与产业的有效衔接，培养适应行业需求的高素质复合型人才，不仅为旅游业高质量发展提供坚实的人才支撑，也为相关专业教育改革提供可借鉴的路径。

Abstract: While China’s tourism industry is experiencing rapid growth, Master of Tourism Administration (MTA) education still faces a disconnect between talent cultivation and industry demands. This paper thoroughly analyzes deficiencies in MTA education regarding training objectives, teaching models, curriculum design, and practical instruction, highlighting prominent issues such as insufficient industry-education integration and inadequate faculty resources. Based on this analysis, it proposes an innovative talent development model centered on a “dual-mentor system” and supported by a university-enterprise co-built “dual-platform system”. This model integrates the entire process from recruitment and training to evaluation and employment, promoting deep integration of theory and practice. This model aims to enhance the innovation and practical capabilities of MTA graduate students, achieve effective alignment between education and industry, and cultivate high-quality, versatile talents who meet industry demands. It not only provides robust talent support for the high-quality development of the tourism industry but also offers a referenceable pathway for educational reform in related disciplines.
