On the Construction of Liu Xie’s Concept of Literature from the Five “Pivotal Chapters on Literature”

摘要: 本文以《文心雕龙》“文之枢纽”五篇为切入点，从“原道论”“宗经观”“正纬观”“辨骚观”四个维度解析刘勰的文学思想。通过揭示其“道–圣–经”的本体逻辑与“执正驭奇”的实践策略，阐明刘勰如何在复古与创新之间建构平衡的文学观体系，并探讨其对当代文论的启示意义。

Abstract: This paper takes the five “Pivotal Chapters on Literature” from The Literary Mind and the Carving of Dragons as its starting point. It analyzes Liu Xie's literary thought from four perspectives: his “theory of tracing literature to the Dao”, his “view of revering the Classics”, his “view of rectifying the Apocrypha”, and his “view of distinguishing the Songs of Chu”. By revealing the ontological logic of “Dao-Sage-Classics” and the practical strategy of “upholding orthodoxy to master innovation”, the paper elucidates how Liu Xie constructed a balanced system of literary thought between retrospection and innovation. It further explores the significance of his ideas for contemporary literary theory.
