旧词新义类网络流行语规范性研究
A Normative Study of Internet Buzzwords with Old Forms and New Meanings
摘要: 旧词新义类网络流行语是网络流行语的一种类型,它属于新词语,但又是新词语中比较特殊的种类,它不改变其原有的形式,而是运用各种方式将人们的新观念、新认知的概念纳入到已有的“旧词”之中,与“旧词”有着一定的联系。它依托网络得以传播,新义在一段时间之内的使用是相对稳固的,总体也符合经济性的原则,但是旧词新义类网络流行语也同网络流行语一样存在着不规范的问题。针对这一问题,在本研究中首先明确了旧词新义类网络流行语的上位概念——网络流行语,并指出其特点。之后通过数据统计、对比分析的方法对旧词新义类网络流行语的定义、数量、类型以及特点进行研究,明确了研究对象的性质。再对旧词新义类网络流行语的规范进行研究,得出了三条规范建议。
Abstract: Internet buzzwords with old forms and new meanings constitute a distinct category of internet buzzwords. They belong to the group of neologisms, yet represent a relatively special type within it. Unlike typical neologisms, such buzzwords do not alter their original lexical forms; instead, they incorporate new concepts, perceptions, and ideas into existing “old words” through various mechanisms, thereby maintaining a certain connection with their original meanings. Relying on the internet for dissemination, their newly developed meanings tend to remain relatively stable within a specific period of time and generally conform to the principle of linguistic economy. However, like other types of internet buzzwords, internet buzzwords with old forms and new meanings also exhibit problems of non-standard usage. In response to this issue, this study first clarifies the superordinate concept of internet buzzwords and outlines their main characteristics. It then employs methods such as data statistics and comparative analysis to examine the definition, quantity, types, and features of internet buzzwords with old forms and new meanings, thereby clearly identifying the nature of the research object. Finally, the study explores the normative regulation of this type of buzzwords and proposes three normative recommendations.
