先秦尚虎文化内涵考释
A Study on the Cultural Connotation of Tiger Worship in Pre‑Qin Period
摘要: 先秦时期，虎作为一种动物装饰纹样时常出现在人类实践生活中。本文旨在对现有先秦虎图像类型与演变进行简单梳理，着重对先秦尚虎文化内涵进行研究，试图从单纯的虎、虎的威慑与庇护、借虎升仙三个方面对虎的功能与意义进行探讨，从而进一步加深对先秦人类社会、政治、文化以及审美心理的了解。
Abstract: During the Pre-Qin period, the tiger frequently appeared as an animal decorative pattern in human practical life. This paper briefly reviews the types and evolution of existing tiger images in the Pre-Qin period, focusing on the cultural connotation of tiger worship. It attempts to explore the function and significance of the tiger from three aspects: the tiger itself, its deterrence and protection, and borrowing the tiger for ascension to immortality, so as to further deepen the understanding of Pre-Qin society, politics, culture, and aesthetic psychology.
