Abstract: This article delves into the core qualities of postmodern music education, such as its criticality, plurality, and openness, to illustrate its innovation and expansion of traditional music education concepts and practices. It also anticipates the diverse paths for the future development of postmodern music education, encompassing multiple dimensions such as transforming educational concepts, reforming the curriculum system, updating teaching content, refining teaching methods, enhancing the level of informatization, and improving the evaluation system.
