中国传统节日话语体系构建——以清明节英译为例
Developing a Discourse System for Traditional Chinese Festivals—English Translation of Qingming Festival as a Case in Point
摘要: 中国传统节日不仅是中华民族共同体价值观的生动体现,也是中华文化传承与文明传播的重要载体,是中国特色话语体系的重要组成部分。但在世界话语体系格局中,我国传统节日话语体系整体上尚处在初创期。本文整合批判话语分析(CDA)和文化间性理论,以清明节英译为实例,探寻中国传统节日话语体系的“语境重构–文化协商–媒介创新”构建模式与传播路径,以助益于我国传统节日文化话语体系的建立,提升中国文化的软实力,增强其在国际话语体系中的接受度。
Abstract: Traditional Chinese festivals are vivid expression of the shared values of the Chinese nation. They are also important vehicles for transmitting Chinese culture and disseminating Chinese civilization and a vital part of the Chinese discourse system. However, within the global discourse landscape, the establishment of the Chinese discourse system for traditional festivals is still in its infancy. Integrating the theories of Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) and interculturality, this paper seeks to establish a model for building a discourse system for Chinese traditional festivals featured by “context reconstruction-cultural negotiation-media innovation” and a pathway for disseminating the discourse system of Chinese traditional festivals, taking the English translation of the Qingming Festival as a case study. The aim is to help the establishment of the Chinese discourse system for traditional festivals, to strengthen the soft power of Chinese culture and to enhance its acceptability of the Chinese discourse system for traditional Chinese festivals.
