认知语言学视角下地方戏曲隐喻翻译的文化适配性研究——以《二度梅》为例
A Study on the Cultural Adaptability of Metaphor Translation in Local Opera from the Perspective of Cognitive Linguistics—Taking The Plum Blossom Reblooms as an Example
摘要: 认知语言学视域下,隐喻作为人类思维的核心载体与文化传播的关键媒介,其翻译本质是跨文化认知框架的适配与重构。地方戏曲作为中华优秀传统文化的重要组成部分,其隐喻系统既承载着地域文化特质,又蕴含着民族思维范式,给跨文化翻译带来独特挑战。本文以邕剧经典剧目《二度梅》为研究对象,基于概念隐喻理论、蓄意隐喻理论等认知语言学核心成果,采用文献分析法与案例研究法,系统剖析剧中隐喻的文化共性、可释性与差异性特征,探讨地方戏曲隐喻翻译的文化适配路径。研究发现,通过喻体移植、喻体替换与喻体释义三种适配策略,可实现原语文化内涵与译入语认知框架的动态平衡,为地方戏曲的跨文化传播提供理论支撑与实践参考,助力中华文化“走出去”战略的深化实施。
Abstract: From the perspective of Cognitive Linguistics, metaphor serves as a core carrier of human thinking and a key medium for cultural communication. Its translation essentially involves the adaptation and reconstruction of cross-cultural cognitive frameworks. As an integral part of fine traditional Chinese culture, local opera’s metaphorical system bears both regional cultural characteristics and national thinking paradigms, posing unique challenges to cross-cultural translation. Taking The Plum Blossom Reblooms, a classic play of Nanning Opera, as the research object, this study is based on core achievements of Cognitive Linguistics such as Conceptual Metaphor Theory and Deliberate Metaphor Theory. Employing literature analysis and case study methods, it systematically analyzes the cultural commonalities, interpretability, and differences of metaphors in the play, and explores the cultural adaptation paths for metaphor translation in local opera. The research finds that three adaptation strategies—vehicle transplantation, vehicle replacement, and vehicle paraphrasing—can achieve a dynamic balance between the cultural connotations of the source language and the cognitive framework of the target language. This provides theoretical support and practical reference for the cross-cultural communication of local opera, and contributes to the in-depth implementation of the strategy of “telling Chinese stories well” and promoting Chinese culture to the world.
