摘要: 论文以空间叙事理论为框架，旨在分析阿尔贝·加缪的小说《局外人》。以亨利·列斐伏尔的空间三元辩证法为理论参照，深入探究三类具体的空间形式及其叙事功能。论文认为，小说中的物理空间通过意象的组合，呈现了主人公默尔索的情感变迁；社会空间揭示了个人行为与社会规范、公众理解之间的错位；心理空间则通过默尔索的回忆与想象，展现其自我意识的最终形成。三类空间相互作用和影响，共同构成了推动小说情节、塑造人物形象和深化“局外人”主题的核心线索。

Abstract: This paper takes spatial narrative theory as its framework and aims to analyze Albert Camus’s novel The Outsider. Drawing on Henri Lefebvre’s dialectic of spatial triad as a theoretical reference, it conducts an in-depth analysis of three specific forms of space and the narrative functions of them. The paper argues that physical space in the novel depicts the emotional transformation of the protagonist Meursault through a combination of imagery. Social space reveals the disconnect between individual behavior and social norms and public understanding. And psychological space, through Meursault’s memories and imagination, illustrates the ultimate formation of his self-awareness. These three types of space interact with and influence one another, collectively forming a central thread that drives the novel’s plot, shapes the characters, and deepens the theme of the outsider.
