On the Urban and Rural Writing in Guo Wenbin’s Novels

摘要: 西海固乡土与西部城市构成了郭文斌的小说世界，在作家由乡到城再返乡的精神旅行中，安详乡土被塑造为最终归宿之地。作家的创作将城市视为一个现代与异化的价值真空，返回乡土虽然避免了尖锐的城乡对立，却也走进了无视现代价值而消极避世的创作误区。真正有价值的乡土写作与安详哲学必然是在正视现代文明与困境的基础上，在传统与现代的结合中寻找新的道路。

Abstract: Xihaigu’s native land and western cities in China constitute the world in Guo Wenbin’s novels. The peaceful and happy countryside is shaped into the final destination in his spiritual journey from the countryside to cities and back to the countryside. His creation is based on the view that cities are a value vacuum of modernity and alienation. Although returning to the countryside avoids the sharp urban-rural opposition, it also causes the writing misunderstanding of ignoring modern values and heading for passive avoidance of the world. The truly valuable local writing and serene philosophy must seek innovation in the combination of tradition and modernity based on objective judgment on modern civilization and predicament.
