浅析弗瑞诺的“野忍冬花”之神韵

An Analysis of the “Spirit” of Freneau’s “Wild Honey Suckle”

摘要: 早在十七世纪即有近似弗瑞诺“野忍冬花”一诗所表达的一些中心内容或曰“神”——对边缘化生命的关注、惜时惜命，英国浪漫主义时期的诗人华兹华斯也有短诗抒写了边缘化生命的状态，但是无论是十七世纪的诗还是华兹华斯的诗都只抒写了边缘化生命或惜时惜命其中一个方面，唯有弗瑞诺的“野忍冬花”一诗将这两个方面有机地结合起来，使得该诗具有更深更广的含义。

Abstract: As early as in the seventeenth century, there were poems that expressed similar central ideas or “spirit”—concern on the marginalized, and making much of time and life, and Wordsworth, the nineteenth-century poet, also wrote about the marginalized life. However, no matter whether the poems in the seventeenth century or the poem by Wordsworth, none of them combined the two aspects but the “Wild Honey Suckle” by Philip Freneau; and thus, the poem seems to include more.
