Abstract: The treatment of malignant tumors is still a difficult problem in the world today. The main treat-ment methods are surgical resection and postoperative chemotherapy. Carmustine is a broad-spectrum anticancer drug that has been used clinically for more than 40 years. It is also the most widely used drug in glioma chemotherapy. This article reviews the mechanism of action of carmustine and some clinical applications and breakthroughs in recent years.
