川端康成《雪国》与沈从文《边城》比较谈

A Comparative Study of Yasunari Kawabata’s Snow Country and Shen Congwen’s Border Town

摘要: 《雪国》和《边城》分别是川端康成和沈从文的代表作。这两部小说不论在外在形式还是在思想内蕴上，都有许多惊人的相似之处。作为两部具有鲜明的民族特色的作品，它们同时也存在一些差异。除了作品叙事特征的不同外，作家的生死观和审美观的不同也反映了中日两个民族传统文化的差异及其对作家的不同影响。

Abstract: Snow Country and Border Town are representative works of Yasunari Kawabata and Shen Con-gwen respectively. An analysis of the two novels’ external forms and inner thoughts reveals many striking similarities between them. Moreover, as two works with distinct national characteristics, they also have some differences. In addition to their different narrative features, the two works also manifest the writers’ different views of life and death and aesthetic conceptions, which reflect the differences between Chinese and Japanese traditional cultures as well as their influences on writers.
