摘要: 当代苏格兰作家伊恩•班克斯作为科幻小说界的巨匠之一，其作品荒诞离奇，想象力丰富，氛围神秘恐怖，具有极强的哥特小说特征。《捕蜂器》作为班克斯的第一部小说，凭借其独特的哥特文学魅力受到大量读者的关注与欣赏。这部作品在继承古典哥特小说特征的同时，对其做了一定超越，赋予哥特新的内涵与意义。本文将从这两个方面剖析《捕蜂器》在延用传统的基础上做出超越古典哥特文学的特别之处。
Abstract: Iain Banks, a contemporary Scottish writer, is one of the giants of science fiction, whose works are mysterious, bizarre and full of imagination, possessing strong Gothic novel characteristics. As his first novel which was published in 1984, The Wasp Factory has attracted many readers' attention and appreciation for its unique Gothic style. While inheriting the characteristics of classic Gothic novels, this book also excesses them by attaching new meanings to the traditional Gothic writings. This article will analyze the inheritance and transcendence of classic Gothic novels on The Wasp Factory from these two aspects.
