An Analysis of Conceptual Metaphor in Top Ten Network Buzzwords in Recent Five Years from the Perspective of Cognitive Linguistics

摘要: 随着网络的普及，越来越多的网络流行语被人们创造并使用。它们是如何被创造，经历了怎样的演变过程，蕴含着怎样的意义都值得探索。隐喻与社会生活方方面面有着千丝万缕的联系，它不仅存在于文学作品中，更存在于人们的日常生活中。概念隐喻不仅仅是一种修辞手段，它已经成为了人们的思维方式。本文将以认知语义学中的概念隐喻理论为指导，选取近五年年度十大网络流行词，探究其中的隐喻概念，分析不同类型的隐喻的内涵与意义，帮助人们更好地理解网络流行词的流行机制。

Abstract: With the popularity of the Internet, more and more network buzzwords are created and used by people. It is worth exploring how they are created, how they evolve, and what meanings they contain. Metaphor is closely related to every aspect of social life. It not only exists in literary works, but also in people’s daily life. Conceptual metaphor is not only a rhetoric device, but also a way of thinking. Under the guidance of conceptual metaphor theory in cognitive semantics, this paper selects the top ten Internet buzzwords in recent five years, explores the metaphor concepts used in them, analyzes the connotation, types and meanings of metaphor, and helps people better understand the Internet buzzwords and their popular mechanism.
