Survey and Discussion on Safety Knowledge among Master’s Students with Interdisciplinary Backgrounds

摘要: 鉴于佛山科学技术学院2023级环境工程硕士新生普遍缺乏化学相关的背景，本文通过调查问卷的方式，分析了学生专业背景、培训经历、安全教育需求、个人防护、实验室知识操作和应急处理方面的现状。结果表明，大多数学生认为需要进行实验室安全教育，特别是在化学试剂使用、个人防护及安全法规方面的需求显著。建议实施个性化安全教育计划、加强实操训练与模拟演练、提高应急处置能力等，确保校园安全环境。

Abstract: Considering the widespread deficiency in chemical knowledge among the Environmental Engineering master’s students of the 2023 intake at Foshan University, this article analyzes the current status of students’ professional backgrounds, training experiences, safety education needs, personal protection, laboratory knowledge operation, and emergency handling through survey questionnaires. The analysis reveals that the vast majority of students advocate for the necessity of lab safety education, with a significant demand noted in areas such as the use of chemical agents, personal protection, and understanding of safety legislation. Recommendations include the implementation of personalized safety education initiatives, enhancement of practical training and simulation drills, and strengthening of emergency response skills to ensure a secure campus environment.
