Abstract: This report analyzes the strategies and challenges of the translation process from the perspective of communicative translation theory. This theory emphasizes that translation is not merely a language conversion but also effective information transfer and communication. Therefore, when translating this chapter, the translator must fully understand the intent of the source text and the needs of the audience to ensure that the translation accurately conveys technical details while also aligning with the target audience’s cognitive habits and cultural background. The report summarizes key difficulties encountered during the translation, such as the translation of technical terms, context comprehension, and adjustment of expression, and proposes corresponding solutions. Through specific translation examples, it demonstrates how to achieve optimal communicative effectiveness while maintaining the integrity of the original information and ensuring cultural adaptation.
