Abstract: Since its launch, ChatGPT-like artificial intelligence has shown great potential in the field of public management. Its powerful natural language processing, data analysis and automation capabilities provide the government with efficient services, policy-making and public participation tools. However, while bringing opportunities, ChatGPT-like also faces challenges such as data privacy, bias, over-reliance and technical misunderstanding. This paper analyzes the application of ChatGPT-like artificial intelligence in public management, explores its potential opportunities and problems, and proposes coping strategies to achieve the rational use and innovative development of technology in the public field.
