澳门被称为“东方拉斯维加斯”，提起澳门，就少不了谈到澳门的博彩业，这是因为博彩业对澳门的经济发展有着举足轻重的影响。本文使用统计分析的方法,通过零售销售额、酒店入住率等因素分析其与澳门经济之间的关系，从而探析博彩业对澳门经济的影响程度。研究结果显示，澳门博彩业对澳门经济影响的显著性极高。
Due to the very significance of gambling, Macao is well-known as the “East Las Vegas”. In this paper, we use some statistical methods to analyze the correlation between gambling and economics of Macao, from two different perspectives, namely retail sales and tourist occupancy rate. The results show that, gambling plays a very important role in the development of economics of Macao.
